Red Square is a Fine Example of Varriano's Structuralism Style

Share

Red Square is one in a series, of what can broadly be characterized as Constructivist Paintings. It is a geometrical representation of balance, and is indicative of Varriano’s unique talent for combining the science of mechanics and the philosophy of aesthetics.

Brilliantly, in this series of works, the artist has substituted color for gravity. Varriano grants us a transcendental experience where art and science perfectly align. The viewer can feel the “Weight” of these geometric forms and their existence in worlds large, small, and beyond.
